A six-bedroom home in Martis Camp, Lake Tahoe, Marea transformed into a warm, character-filled retreat for a young family of six. Originally a spec home, the goal was to create a sophisticated yet highly functional vacation space that felt both stylish and family-friendly - without leaning “kiddy.” Marea infused the home with rich textures, modern comfort, and an “upscale camp” aesthetic. The renovation included a new guest wing, expanding capacity from 10 to 16 with pull-out sofas, an office-turned-sleeping space, and a bunk room with four full-size beds. The outdoors were also revitalized with landscaping, a large spa, a walk-up bar off the golf course, and a fire pit. Thoughtfully curated art and design ensure this home is both setting-appropriate and uniquely refined.
