Presidio Terrace
This historic residence nestled in San Francisco’s prestigious Presidio Terrace neighborhood traces its origins back to 1905. Crafted by Havens & Toepke, a renowned architectural firm responsible for iconic landmarks like the Flatiron Building, it boasts a rich legacy. Adding to its historical significance, it was once occupied by the Princess Abigail Wahikaahuula Kawananakoa of Hawaii. United by a common vision, the team endeavored to honor the property's heritage while modernizing its layout to suit the needs of a young family. With Marea, architect Benjamin McGriff, and the homeowners sharing Southern roots, a traditional aesthetic formed the basis of their design approach. Each space is imbued with layers of color and pattern, striking a delicate balance between beauty and comfort.
