Presidio Heights
The historic setting of a 1906-built shingled craftsman overlooking the Presidio National Park and Golden Gate Bridge immediately set the tone for the interior scheme. Marea and architect Judith Mattingly seamlessly integrated the natural surroundings and preserved the original architectural character, updating the layout to suit modern family living. Striking a balance between sophistication and comfort, the color palette features gentle neutrals complemented by hints of green and blue reminiscent of the outdoor landscape. Marea curated distinct experiences throughout the house where furnishings both classic and contemporary are found. From bright communal zones to intimate nooks, the home embraces the essence of familial warmth.
