Russian Hill
With sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge, this six-story Russian Hill residence was reimagined by Marea Clark Interiors to bring cohesion, warmth, and soul to what had once been two separate developer-rebuilt units. Marea led a full-scale renovation, addressing both layout and livability across the 6,000-square-foot vertical footprint. A major move involved relocating the kitchen entirely to create a more intuitive flow for everyday living and frame the home’s breathtaking views. Now, the kitchen opens seamlessly onto an outdoor dining area, grounding the space in both function and scenery. Throughout the home, Marea curated a harmonious blend of high-end craftsmanship, vintage finds, and custom pieces to achieve a timeless, collected aesthetic. To complete the vision, Marea partnered with Caroline Brinckerhoff of CHB Art Advisory to introduce a selection of exceptional blue-chip artworks, including pieces by Robert Adams, April Gornik, Richard Learoyd, and Jake Longstreth. The result is a welcoming sanctuary for a young family, thoughtfully layered and balanced to reflect both sophistication and softness.
